How it works

Three steps. You stay in control.

The browser is for designing. Anything that touches your iPhone happens on your Mac, with your confirmation.

  1. 01

    Design

Start with a template or your own image. Move and zoom it inside the card.

  2. 02

    Preview

See the card before you apply anything, with Wallet's own marks shown where they will sit.

  3. 03 · On your Mac

    Apply locally

Plug your iPhone into your Mac, pick the card in My iPhone, then confirm on the Mac. Waliz Helper does the rest.

My iPhone

Plug in. Pick a card. Done.

Everything happens on waliz.app, step by step. Waliz Helper on your Mac does the work over the cable.

  • Your cards appear. Open them in Wallet and Waliz lists them by name. Card numbers never leave your iPhone.
  • Choose the look. One of your designs, a Waliz template, or an image you import.
  • Confirm on your Mac. You see the design, the card and your iPhone. Nothing is written before you say yes.

Compatibility

Honest about what it does.

Waliz is experimental and version-dependent. It works with a supported Mac, a trusted iPhone connection and compatible Wallet activity. It does not change your card number, payment credentials or bank rules.

Read compatibility notes
  • Changes the artwork shown for compatible cards and passes on your iPhone.
  • Needs a Mac with Waliz Helper and a USB connection you trust.
  • Asks you to confirm the exact card before anything is written.
  • Never asks for card numbers, security codes or banking passwords.
  • Not an Apple feature. iOS updates can undo a look until Waliz supports them.

FAQ

Questions, answered plainly.

Does Waliz change my bank card?

No. Waliz only changes how compatible cards and passes look on your own iPhone. Your card number, payment credentials, tokens and bank rules stay exactly as your bank set them.

Why do I need a Mac app?

Applying a look happens over a trusted USB connection between your Mac and your iPhone. A website cannot do that, so Waliz Helper, a small app on your Mac, runs the local step and asks you to confirm before anything is written.

Will Waliz ask for my bank details?

Never. Waliz does not ask for card numbers, security codes, PINs or banking passwords, and no part of the product needs them. If anything claiming to be Waliz asks, it is not us.

Which iOS and macOS versions are supported?

Waliz Helper needs macOS 14 or later. iPhone support depends on the iOS version and is listed on the compatibility page, based on real device tests. When a version is not validated, Waliz says so and writes nothing.

What happens after an Apple update?

Updates can change how Wallet stores artwork, and your custom look may disappear or stop applying until Waliz is updated. Your designs stay saved, so you can re-apply them once the new version is supported.

Can I use Waliz without an account?

Yes. The studio works without an account: pick a template or import an image, preview it and export it. Images you import stay in your browser and are not uploaded.
